Dear Community Members,
Lucky Lake and area is in major need of childcare. Many options have been explored but due to costs, timelines, and red tape, it has come down to starting a commercial daycare facility for Lucky Lake and area. A group of members, as well as a Board of Directors, have been established. The Board of Directors includes Angie Lowe, Michaela Jessiman, Anita Inverarity, Katelyn Jonescu, Terra Boon and Kiley Henderson. Most recently the Daycare has become a registered Not-For-Profit Corporation, Little Prairie Daycare Inc.
This is such a great opportunity and an exciting new venture for the community! We are currently looking for sponsorship to help offset costs. With your sponsorship, you could be a part of the following purchases: purchasing the previous Village/RM Office from the town, interior renovations, fencing and landscaping outside, equipment and supplies required for startup, website and logo design, utilities and taxes, as well as, yearly donations to keep operating.
We know a daycare will be a huge benefit to the community and surrounding area, as indicated by a survey conducted in April. The community and Board of Directors would be grateful if you would consider sponsoring any of the following levels:
Donation of Time and Special Skill set, such as Carpenter, Electrician, Plumber etc.
Donor- $200 and Under
Bronze Sponsor- $200-$499
Silver Sponsor- $500-$999
Gold Sponsor- $1000-$2499
Diamond Sponsor- $2500-$4999
Platinum Sponsor-$5000+
We will be recognizing our sponsors on a bulletin board in the daycare building, on Facebook, website, the sign on Main Street Lucky Lake, and in any newsletters that will be sent out. There has also been discussion on other ways of recognition through signage/plaques on our building/fence etc. depending on the level of sponsorship selected.
